No more view, simply a photo dump. I'll start with what were the most interesting / stand outs for me.
Minden - table was too big to take in one shot so I worked around from French left flank to allied right flank. The abatis was especially nice.
Next a couple of WW2 games, first Operation Exporter in Syria 1941
Sicily 1943
Then a Britannia AD60 game - although clearly they needed more Celts....
A nice ECW - battle of Ambridge 1644

Then some that while impressive were ones that raised some questions for me...
Joe Bilton Montcornet 1940 - I assume What a Tanker, Lovely buildings, lovely tanks but what were tanks doing fighting in a BUA? I assume because the games requires lots of cover, but surely you would just bypass it and leave to wither or send in infantry - looked it up it was De Gaulle's counter attack - important hub but mostly it was AT and Stukas with some tanks v French armout
Iwo Jima - very big, very busy but nothing happening - was labelled somewhere as a participation game but already set out and nothing moved. Lots of little vignettes (flag raised on Mt Surbaji -didn't photograph. The cynic in me wonders whether it was an attempt to win best in show? If so lost out to some 2D cardboard figures....
D-Day Juno beach
Sikh Wars - Suraj Kund some nice terrain but figures seemed a bit lost?
A French Foreign Legion game - nice off-table presentation and a fort and train, but some of the terrain was a bit ropey and suffered from clutter - like a lot of games, dice rules tape measures etc
